AM... 8 miles total. [E] 2.1 mile warm-up including 800m of speed builds to U of U track at East High School. Then 5x800m with 400m recovery (~2 min). Workout went something like this... 800m #1 - 2:39 (400m recovery) 800m #2 - 2:39 (400m recovery) 800m #3 - 2:38 (400m recovery) 800m #4 - 2:38 (400m recovery) 800m #5 - 2:36, negative split 80-76 (400m recovery) Overall I felt kind of dead--mostly tired though. I guess new babies and irregular sleep patterns can really take it out of you. Once I got rolling I was OK, but didn't feel great by any stretch--much more comfortable doing the mile repeats. [E] 2.1 mile cool-down after, followed by regular stretch.
